Aston Martin DB4

In the shows of London and Paris, Aston Martin presents in 1958 the DB4 with a radiator grill in the lineage
of the DB Mk III but much finer. In fact, it is a completely new car: from the frame to the body
carrying the famous registration "Superleggera" (Touring), via the engine (Tadek Marek) and gearbox (David Brown).
The DB4, first Aston Martin to be built in the factory of Newport Pagnell, is the instigator of a new era.
The inside received a particular care what makes of the DB4 an extremely comfortable GT.

The DB4 evolved over time and comes in 5 series :

Series 1 (october 1958 to february 1960) : first version of the DB4.
Series 2 (january 1960 to april 1961): improvement of the cooling, the modification of the system of lubrication and modification of the body.
Series 3 (from april 1961 to spetember 1961): new rear lights.
Series 4 (from september 1961 to october 1962) : the radiator grid is worked again.
Series 5 (from november 1962 to 1963) : extension of the body, increase of the height of the roof.
