Fabulous victory so waited, several years of relentless fight
and sacrifices to arrive at this result.
This DBR1 piloted by Roy Salvadori and Caroll Shelby (pilot relieving Henry Taylor),
had ran 4347,5 km in 24 hours with a 181 kp/h average speed.
Reg Parnell, like a conductor, had managed the organization
of the stand of the DBR1 N° 5 whith a lot of determination.
This DBR1 at the 1/87th was delicate to build, so small,
but an assembly which gave me a lot of happiness.
